Wide selection is offset by the owner making you pay for the pleasure of looking for your own item.
Mike from G&R in Independence has been incredibly kind, responsive and professional. He was very helpful and righted a wrong of another business who fell very short. I will be a lifetime customer to G&R because of Mike. Thanks for everything!!
I called to see if they had a car in the yard. He put me on hold. I was driving in that direction. While they had me on hold for 10 minutes I made it to their front desk with speakerphone on. One of the Gentlemen even commented to the other that he had me on hold. I asked again, in person if they had a specific vehicle. It took him 30 seconds to tell me they didn’t have the car. So why was I on hold for so long? I will not be going back
Rude customer service. If you need just one piece I do not recommend going here. I found a fluid damper on a Dodge Cummins that would work on my 4bt project, and offered to buy it. I noticed that several other pulleys, the P7100 pump, and various other intake parts were already picked off the engine. They refused to sell me the damper because they had wanted to keep the engine “complete” even after I had pointed out the fact that it was not complete and other people had picked various parts off of it.
I had one other semi bad experience two weeks prior where I was needing only a fixed yoke for my full size Bronco. They have a complete BW1356 transfer case, but was unwilling to separate the yoke for me. I do not intend to attempt to do anymore business with them unless they decide they want to sell me that damper at a fair price.
