Pull-A-Part was great. I didn’t find what I went there for. I did find a spare tire for my 1990 Toyota Camry station wagon though. The cars where easy to find. They have a friendly staff. I was asked by several different employees if I needed help finding anything. All around a great experience.

For the love of all things holy, do not even bother asking about the “Thank you for your service” promotion. I had no intention of getting free entry, but I saw this sign at the door and I thought, “That’s a really nice thing they are doing here.” It made me happy to spend my money at such a place.

To elaborate, I don’t need thanks for my service, I get a paycheck and I’m extremely happy doing my job, but it is very nice of businesses to go out of their way to help first responders and veterans. Because I didn’t know this was a promotion that they have, I didn’t bring my ID and I simply asked if they accepted id.me as proof of being a first responder just to see. I had no idea if they would and was extremely willing to pay for entry because I need parts and I can’t afford new ones on my salary. I had heard great things about the cleanliness and organization of this business.

The lady at the counter advised me that she didn’t know what I was talking about, and they only allow VIP members for free. I apologized and said that I had just seen it on a sign and wondered. I was letting it go, but this must have infuriated her and she advised me that first responder is not in her list. At this point, I felt that it was funny, because as she was being very rude and raising her voice to me through the clear barrier, I happened to look up and see the exact same sign right there on the clear barrier framing her face. I just pointed at the sign since she was being incredibly rude and she yells at me that she believes me and starts to say something else. I am a non confrontational person, so I just held up my hand, apologized, and said we would just go somewhere else. The audacity of this lady to look at me and say, “yes you will.”

I have never been treated so bad, especially by a business that I was about to buy several hundred dollars of parts from. I will not be visiting again. I want no special treatment or offers to return, there are plenty of other parts yards nearby. I think this business should be aware of their employees behavior. In addition, I think that they should take these signs down if they have no intention of honoring it, or worse yelling at a customer simply for asking if they accept the digital ID verification (which it is totally fine if they don’t.) It’s totally my fault for not bringing my ID, but all she had to say was that they don’t accept it. Maybe it’s because I had my partner with me and she didn’t like that I’m obviously gay or maybe it’s because my boyfriend is Indian, or maybe it’s because she just didn’t like being advised of something that she didn’t know about her job, but either way it was extremely insulting. Hopefully none of my colleagues treat her the same way as she treats others when she calls 911 because we do try to be professional.

This place does indeed look clean and organized and it appeared that they had anything you can want. I can’t speak as to their prices as I couldn’t get past the entry to the yard, but other reviews speak to that anyway. I would never steer anyone away from a business, so if you can deal with the behavior of at least one employee, this may be the place for you.

We needed help getting a bolt our on a ball joint. TBone was great. He went to get a lift to free the weight on the bolt and it came right out. He was great to work with and so very kind. Thanks, TBone! The price for the bolt was great also.

!!”Gene”!!! was super helpful I was leaving and he caught up with me to make sure I got all my parts, I had left behind a mirror that I pulled and I would have had to come back for it… This is dedication thanks so much for a good team, I really didn’t expect this experience to be as good as it was! I mostly dread dealing with most* “junk yard people.” They are usually mean ornery or both and short tempered, Generally not helpful at all, always trying to tax you to the point where you don’t know why your even getting the stuff used… Pull-A-Part was different the people there were very nice (offered cold water on really hot day) kind and patient and the prices where reasonable on most things. The yard is also very organized and its kept very clean. This is not like a normal junkyrad this is like a department store junk yard with an online inventory so you don’t have to waste time figuring out if they even have what your looking for.

Great place to buy vehicle parts. Prices are not ridiculous like all the other part yards. Only reason they got three was the check in person’s attitude.
