I purchased a car. Transporter went to pick it up but noticed that the Front was crashed. Bumper hanging I called Copart wanting a refund because On pictures the car was 100% nice, one owner never in accident undamaged. They told me that the best they can do is take care of my $15 storage fee. I was furious. Im posting Pictures. Lot # 59656369

To be able to take your car out, You must come from 8 to 4.30pm, and You need to scan a code to put yourself on the queue. You can still Pay for the car before 5pm But You Will remove it until next day. So please try to come earrly!

Great deals. Customer service could be better. The app didn’t work for me to make an appointment. They still wanted me to go back outside to make an appointment even though I was the only one there. The appointment process when I did get it to work on the third time was cumbersome and asked for a lot of info. Kind of beyond frustrating.
Their policy for payments on pickup is kind of silly. Only can pay $400 by cash a day….and you have to have it approved to pay by card which for some reason for us we couldn’t get it to work. Had to go back off site and get a money order.
Still waiting here for the car even though there isn’t anyone in front of me and the staff is hanging out chatting in their rigs.

Bidding online from Salt Lake City, UT, I accidentally put over 20 grand on a van from here because the run-list shifted while I looked at my notes and it was a similar looking white van. So the auto-bidder bought it for me by bidding one increment higher than the second highest bidder. I called within a minute or two of the mistake to ask if they could give it to the second highest bidder or simply correct the mistake. The receptionist on the phone was nice enough. She gave me an email to someone she hoped could help me. That guy said he did not have the authority and gave me another email to a guy who would not respond even after multiple attempts. We paid nearly $2000 to relist the vehicle. Who at CoPart is incompetent enough that it takes $2000 to list a vehicle? And what happened to offering the van back to the second highest bidder? He lost it because he was out bid by one increment. Why wouldn’t he gladly take it if he was called back and offered? I believe there was no second-highest bidder. I believe CoPart is illegally submitting bids to get the prices higher for more profits. They will charge extra fees, late charges, storage fees, gate fees, online bid fees, pre-bid fees, every possible chance they get.
I need to add that about a year earlier I bought a 2015 Nissan Altima from the Salt Lake location. I paid for the car and got the title. when I sent my transporter to pick it up, CoPart had LOST the car. They searched for the car for about TWO MONTHS and could not deliver it. They finally refunded my money after that time. I did not pursue late fees or interest for the time CoPart had both my money and my car. Why? Because we’re all people and we can help accommodate mistakes when they arise with either party. Right? Well it turns out that I am capable of doing that for CoPart, but CoPart is NOT willing to return the favor. After dealing with their unaccommodating, intolerant attitude, I’m taking my quarter-million dollar a year business to IAA. Buying from CoPart these past 5 years has been multiple repeats of the worst buying experiences of my life. I’ve dealt with about 10 different auction houses regularly and nothing compares to the twisted, biased, unreasonably one-sided policies of CoPart. I plainly see GREED is the driving force. It’s oozing out of every ugly policy they continue to send down from corporate.
