I have been using Winkel for minor repairs for the past four years. They are always blunt and honest about what is needed, which has been so refreshing. My car wouldn’t pass inspection because the dealership didn’t like a small chip in my windshield (which even they admitted was legal to drive with) so I went to Winkel and they gave me a fair review and let the car pass. Been going to Winkel ever since!
Gary is the man! Busy dude so be patient. But he had a transmission for a 64 dodge van. Fantastic shape and more than reasonable. And he has a wealth of information, a walking Auto encyclopedia in historian. Can’t go wrong.

They won’t “sell” anything, that’s true…they FIX whatever is wrong, and ONLY what is wrong!

As a new customer I won’t go there unless there is no other option.
A 50 cents coin was taken from my car after dropping it for a service.
I also was charged a lot more. Just because they could not fixed a minor issue quickly.
Not happy with they service at all.
Initially I asked a question about the car. The answer cost me $70. And I did not even authorize them to do anything. It was a chain of terrible bad experiences in a row.
It might be different if they know you.
