Called and asked if they had a specific year and model vehicle in their yard and was told they did. I arrived, paid my entry fee, and walked around for an hour looking in the section they told me. I asked why I couldn’t find it and they told me that it was in a different area where I wasn’t allowed and it would be moved over at a later date. I explained that I drove approximately 100 mile round trip to look for my part because I was told the vehicle was available to remove parts from. I asked to speak to a manager to see if I could access the other part of the yard or if they would remove it for me, it takes about 10 minutes. I was told he wouldn’t call the manager and that I called the other location. I replied that I specifically called the Anderson’s South location and he just shrugged. I wasn’t even offered a refund for my entry fee.

Update:
The manager contacted me and apologized and then said that he personally would go look for the part out in the yard and that he would get back to me. He never got back to me and after emailing him a couple of times he finally responded and said that the vehicle wasn’t in their lot.

Husband and I frequent junkyards around and outside of Indiana. We traveled to Wyoming and had to stop for parts for our car in Nebraska and this place was the coolest junkyard we’ve ever been too.
