They went over and beyond to make sure that my used vehicle was in top shape for me to drive it off the lot. Good honest people. Gave me a great deal on a Subaru. They pressured me a little as all salesmen do…but honestly I’m glad cause I’m really happy with my purchase!
My daughter and I were at another dealership test driving a car when we saw a Subaru Crostrek at Hanson Auto. The first car didn’t work out so we drove over to Hanson to inquire about the Subaru. The car had a rebuilt title and wasn’t ready to be sold. My daughter had her car totaled the week before and time was pressing. The insurance company was making her turn in her rental car and she needed a car ASAP so she could get to school. The guys at Hanson were fantastic and went so far above and beyond what they had to so my daughter would be able to purchase the car. They stayed up late night after night and dumped thousand of dollars they didn’t have to into this car to get it ready for her. They did this all with no guarantee she would even buy it and kept a discussed price. After she picked up the car the check engine light came on and once again they were there above and beyond to help out. The took the car and took care of the check engine light without question. THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME and HONEST! We can’t thank them enough for everything they have done. I would without question do business with these guys again.
I purchased a 2013 Kia optima from Hanson Auto around a year a year ago and was 100% unsatisfied. The owner and I agreed on the purchase of the car if he fixed the broken hood latch and fixed the paint around the windshield that was flaking off, he wrote it down on his notepad and we both signed it, I made a mistake by not getting a copy myself but he seemed like a trustworthy guy so I didn’t think much of it seeing those are 2 very simple tasks, long story short he ignored multiple texts / phone calls to the point where I went in personally and he was questioning that we even agreed on that just a few days after the purchase. He eventually agreed he would take care of it and would give me a phone call ASAP, I had to reach out multiple times afterwards with no response. I got fed up and ended up fixing those things myself but I wouldn’t suggest anyone purchasing a vehicle from these guys, I paid around $8-9k cash for this vehicle with a simple agreement that we signed to for those 2 basic things and he flat out ignored me and couldn’t even simply reply. I’d assume it would’ve been around 1 hour labor time and the cost of everything i did / paid shops to do was under $150. I regret purchasing a vehicle from them. I’m also seeing in their reviews that they’re aggressively telling people they’ve knocked the price down multiple times and the owner was trying to tell us the car was $1,500 more than it was posted for and kept repeating to us during the paper work how much of a loss selling us this vehicle for the price was for him, then came back later saying his son lowered the price without running it by him. Very unprofessional company.
I bought a car from these guys and I am happy with the car and price, but the customer service and the process was painful. I do like Giovanni (Body Repair Guy), he helped us and wasn’t a problem, but Mr. Hanson Sr. was very difficult to work with. Frankly, he didn’t fulfill on his promises until I called and pushed for weeks.
