ABSOLUTELY ZERO STARS IF I COULD. I kept getting placed on hold for extremely long wait times. I ordered a transmission on 5/16/2022 for an 01 Lincoln Navigator through Rochelle. He told me it would be a 10 day turn around. On that time frame, I was pushing it – however, sounded like a good deal & customer agreed to wait the 10 days. I called a few times to get ETA on transmission to update customer, I could not speak with anyone but my sales rep & they would get him to call me back. He never called, I had to keep calling back & when I did get InTouch with him, I kept getting the response “I don’t know.” “It’s being built.” “Supplier is short.” “It’s in shipping.” “Still being built.” On day 12, 6/2/2022 they advised me it would be another week, it would arrive on Thursday 6/9 & the wait time was not including weekends, which I wasn’t counting. I advised my customer that it would be another week before we would receive the transmission. They decided to cancel repair altogether due to wait time. I refunded MY customer’s deposit. I called & asked for a refund, again placed on hold for 10 minutes. Called back, Rochelle advised they were getting in touch with refund department but they usually don’t do refunds & he would reach back out when he heard something. Did not hear back, figured I’d call back this morning. I called this morning, I was placed on hold to speak with the secretary. After 10 minutes of being on hold, I hung up & called back. After calling back, I asked to speak with the owner or someone who could help. Rochelle advised they were trying to get in touch with freight, the unit had already been shipped & paid for on their end. They were trying to cancel freight but until they received the unit back, I would not get a refund. Just spoke with Kelly, who advised me I would be charge $400 for freight when just YESTERDAY, I was advised it was not shipped yet. She said they did not have an update on shipping when I was told it would arrive on Thursday & the unit will actually be arriving on Tuesday. She also said that the wait time did not include weekends & also a holiday was in the wait. I am very dissatisfied with my experience & I pity anyone who uses this company for ANYTHING.
-UPDATE: After posting this review, David Casey operations manager reached out to me & advised me to refuse transmission & he apologized for his employees. He said they could have handled it better. Kelly then called me & gave me a FULL refund. Will not do business in the future, but I do appreciate someone actually handling this situation with care.

Mike Jordan went out his way to make the replacement of my Allison 1000 transmission and transfer case with reman units easy, even though my core was trashed. He provided options for getting everything done and the only hiccup was getting the unit shipped in and installed before a weekend RV trip, but Mike didn’t build or ship it. He was patient with my questions and understood my work situation and my not always being able to answer voicemails.
Highly reccommended.

At Young’s, Cootie and the rest of the staff always greets you with a smile even on the phone. They will go out of their way to assist you and find that specific part that you need. The price’s won’t deplete your wallet either. You just won’t go wrong with Young’s.

I was in a bind, with my car sitting on the side of the road about 1 1/2 hours from home with a hole blown out the side of the engine. Via a third-hand recommendation, I opted to trust Young’s in Benson to handle replacing the engine in my car. The process was to have it towed to another of their locations in Dudley, NC (even further from home) for the work. I was skeptical, but had few viable options. Communication wasn’t quite as good as I would have liked, but I was almost always able to reach someone, and it took a bit longer than I’d hoped (about 2 weeks) but the end result is a car running even smoother than it has since I bought it 9 months ago, and a 90-day warranty on the engine. They were right on the mark with their cost estimates, too. We’re very happy with their work.

Drove all the way there from Goldsboro because I was told a specific part was there. When I got there the gentlemen that retrieves the parts said they hadn’t even seen the order. They didn’t have the part that I needed. I would have preferred they just tell me they didn’t have the part over the phone. That’s why I called before I drove there. It was a waste of time and gas.
