I arrived for a load aluminum in my dry van. Scaled in, got to the dock and waited to get loaded. Scaled again, drove back around and got my paperwork and left. Longest part was the paperwork because my company had set me up on a broker load. Staff was super friendly. Was cool to watch them move the scrap around.
Me and a guy that works for me cut up a semi trailer into 5 sections… the 1st 3 sections they subtracted 500 pounds for the wood and the last 2 sections they called a supervisor to the Crane and he said that all they could do was unload it and it was the tongue part of the trailer which I know is the heaviest part…this place boast about how fair they are… and just a forewarning…. they clearly aren’t my scale weight was 16800 pounds …
Quick, polite and very helpful. It’s nice to have businesses that pay you the worth of what you have. Thank you for not low balling the scrap prices as Shelbyville scrap yard does constantly. I will continue to pass there yard up to scrap in Tullahoma even with gas at $5 a gallon for a fair price. Respect!

For the most part cfc is a great place to get rid of your scrap metal , or to purchase parts for a vehicle. You can also purchase metal for your welding needs. Staff is friendly and polite. The major downside is you call the pick and pull , you get the salvage yard. They tell you there is no direct line to them and you either have to go see them or look on line. Either way it will not tell you what parts are available. You look a vehicle up to see if they have the vehicle. Then pay a fee to see if that vehicle or vehicles have the part your looking for. I called to see if they had a couple of tires ,now I know it’s a salvage yard but all I needed was a tire to put on a trailer , I know they have tires in the lobby area. You would think that a business is there to make money. How can you do good business without a phone. Sounds to me like ,we as customers really don’t matter. I did business with them before but if you can’t put me through to the parts area and tell me if you have a tire, when all they had to do is look across the counter. Guess I’ll just have to take my business elsewhere.
