We had an original, verbal agreement to keep the wheels, (tires plus the rims, as we had just put brand new tires on the car, and purchased a newer model of the same car. It was also specified we wanted both tires AND rims.) They were to buy the rest of the totaled vehicle at essentially the rate for the towing, plus storage of the totaled vehicle. We were told we could pick the tires and rims, up on the weekend, which we called and attempted to pick up, but no one answered. Today, I called them to ask about picking up the tires and rims this weekend, since no one answered the phone beforehand. My husband is a truck driver, and only home for 34 hours on the weekend, and I am unable to drive. It had only been there for TWO WEEKS, and the person I spoke to had told me it was there for a month now (which is false) and we needed to resolve the situation and was so rude to me on the phone, so I had to call someone to pick me up and take me to get this resolved, since they were virtually throwing a fit over the phone, even though they did not answer their phone. We went to pick up the tires and rims, and when we arrived they only provided us with the tires, and when I noticed this, I said something to the lady I was talking to and advised we had specified to an agreement to keep both the rims and tires, not just the tires, (so we had spares for our new car, which was a newer model of the same type of car) and they were to take the rest of the car. She went and got who I am assuming is the owner. They gave me $3 after paying the towing bill, and the man came out and was very confrontational towards me and overall I felt threatened. I felt taken advantage of as a woman, and he was raising his voice at me and saying he already sold the rims, which was NOT in the agreement. He was raising his voice, and asking me how they could make it up to me. I did not know because I have no idea knowledge on the overall situation of them selling the rims, and did not know their value. I felt a bit scared and agreed to take a 60.00 payout because I did not know the worth of the rims, and was not able to call my husband because he would not stop raising his voice and repeating ‘how much?’ over and over again at me, so we agreed upon 60.00. I felt very taken advantage of as a woman who had no knowledge on cars. They broke our original agreement. We were supposed to keep the tires AND rims. I would not advise anyone to use this company, ESPECIALLY if you are a woman. I really feel like they used my gender and lack of knowledge to their advantage. My husband has used them for years for parts and batteries, but I suppose we will be going to Jerry’s for now on.

Apparently nobody works there since nobody can be bothered to ANSWER THE PHONE!!! Sorry. With gas at nearly $3 a gallon I don’t have it in me to just come on down and see what you have….

Two gentlemen quickly and politely changed my flat tire and replaced it with donut tire in trunk, in less than a minute. Hardest part of their job was finding my home.
