Great place for used parts! They just need to expedite sales and getting you your part in a timely manner. Waited an hour for a receipt today that could’ve been printed and done in 2 minutes…..
Purchased a vehicle from a shop in Eden Prairie. Both transmission and engine were purchased from ABCO and I was told the engine came with a 1 year warranty parts and labor. Transmission went out within 3000 miles. Had it replaced by my local shop because that wasn’t covered. Engine went out about 200 miles later due to connecting rod failure. Called to do a warranty claim and the first guy was rude. Second guy was okay but told me its kind of weird and basically a catch-22 situation. I need to provide proof of all sorts of stuff from both shops before they can even consider replacing it. With both parts failing I would not recommend. Go AAA or allusedparts.com. I’ve had much better luck with them.
I called Tuesday this week and put a transmission on hold for pickup on Saturday – they confirmed the order and let me know I was good to go for pickup. Drove over and hour each way for them to tell me they accidentally sold it Thursday. All I got was a “Sorry”. Incredibly frustrating and a complete waste of time and gas.
First off I would like to share customer service there it terrible! I spent 1200$ there to buy an engine and transmission. Also got an extended warranty (150$) cause If ANYTHING was wrong I wanted to be able to return or exchange it with no issues! Well there were issues…and now I’m having issues tring to exchange or return this if I would have known it was going to be like this I would have NEVER done business here I’m an honest person and would expect a business to be the same especially for parts for a car. Wire harness broken, not able to plug PCM, fan blade was cut in half, oil pressed sending unit ,distributor was broken, pcv valve , sensors on transmission that were broken .
