Also they take the right to tell a customer what to buy, And tell them to go to get the money in cash? Because “they don’t take credit cards” but only if you make a deposit then they will take it (what happened to me). This place does make any sense!!!!
Sold bad alternator with loud bearings. Gave a two day time period and told us since we put it in that’s it. Then explained we should continue to drive it with the bearings screaming until the bearing locks up and leaves the car stranded. Don’t recommend to anyone and this place should not be in business. They don’t accept credit cards and only do cash business. The old Al’s was great. These new clowns who bought it out ruined a good name/business
They have their own staff who pull for you for CRAZY cheap. Really helpful staff. Got a working car door pulled for $120 total, total lifesavers and really nice people.
I have been an automotive repair professional since 1983 purchasing used auto parts hundreds of times and the experience I had at Al’s today was the best I have ever had!
There are yards (very close by in fact…) where you dread to go in because of the attitude and indifference of the operators and the misrepresentation of part quality. That does not happen here. These folks not only know there inventory VERY well, but genuinely care about you getting the right part.
I called for what I was looking for and was asked questions that made sure I got the right part that fit properly and solved my problem. Not only that, the price was excellent. In the future I hope to buy from them and they will defiantly be my first call. Besides, they’re actually friendly.
Needed a driver side mirror for my Ranger, they pulled it and notified me the next day that it was ready to be picked up. Nice guys, fair pricing, didn’t seem to have a big collection (literally 1 Ford Ranger) but the part I needed was close to the entrance so I didn’t venture out too far. If I need a part again this will be the first shop I call.
I’ve seen bad reviews here which was off putting at first but as I said above my experience was different, so my advice would be to go and check it out for yourself.
