Although you might expect a pretty rough experience surrounding a metal recycling center, Bell salvage has consistently provided good, friendly service. The location isn’t pretty or clean, but what would you expect from a salvage yard? Even in the yard, the staff has clearly provided information and been friendly. Plus, it’s always nice to leave someplace with a little extra cash in your pocket after getting rid of some unwanted trash.

They’ll take your scrap BEFORE they let you know they aren’t going to pay you for it. Shady place, make the trip to Des Moines and go to Alter if you want a fair price.
