Drove all the way up there and was informed by the old lady running the place that it’s closed to the public and they use the parts to build their own hot rods now. All I needed was a seat… ANY seat for a project, and she said she had nothing to sell me with a real smug smile on her face after I asked if they still sold parts. I said “I guess I’ll cross this one off the list then” to which she replied “I hope you do”. Nice way to treat someone trying to spend cash at your ‘business’. Real shame as this used to be such an awesome yard. Guess I’ll just wait till she’s gone and they’re scrapping everything to go back.

I found Blanchard Auto Parts by accident and was so pleasantly surprised . Dana and Shane and the lady in the office were very very polite and friendly and helpful and the prices were awesome. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I’ve been going to junk yards for decades they treated me like family and I would recommend them to everybody. I will definitely be back! ☺️

Been twice, first time was great, got some nice stuff with some friends for his van and bike, 2nd time around about 8 months later we pulled into the dirt lot, opened the door and the woman who presumably runs the place instantly told us to leave. Said “no teens”. It was at least an hour before closing so perhaps she was understandably worried that we were up to no good (we had perfectly good intentions) but a little more insight or at least a conversation would’ve been appreciated compared to a rude denial after driving for 45 minutes.

Good crew always willing to help with anything you need or any questions you may have. I frequent parts yards 3 or 4 times a month and always choose Blanchards first for their friendly service and reasonable prices.

Outdoor car museum, I never get bored of this wonderful place. The people are friendly and the selection of old Detroit Steel is amazing. Put on a good pair of boots and make sure to check in at the office before going out into the yard.
