TL;DR version: Got a starter for wife’s car for a third of the price of the auto parts store.

Starter on my wife’s Saturn died, so I bought one from Car Recyclers, based on a friend’s recommendation. Got it back home, noticed a couple of teeth on the starter were chipped. I called them and asked if they could do anything about it, and they said they’d give me a refund. That right there is pretty good customer service policy, because it’s a junkyard, so they don’t have to offer a guarantee.

We actually ended up doing an exchange. (The only difference was that one wire attached on a different part of the solenoid. The wire has enough stretch to make it.)

The starter looks nearly new and works great. I’m happy with the part, and I’m VERY happy with the price!

I have worked with Kelly, Trina and all the guys at Car Recyclers. They have and were awesome. They helped me find the right vehicle for me and my 16year old daughter. They have also helped me with other things. They always answer my questions and are very helpful. I would send everyone there!

this place is a keep away!! I saw them charge an old lady with cancer $975 for a tow bill and 23 days storage (she was on disability and(,that’s how long it took until her check came she only got 780 per month)they had no compassion GREED GREED plus theyonly towed it 2 miles sad bunch
