My family and I have dealt with Wayne various times over the years and have always been treated fair. Recently I learned the hard way that Rick, at Carter’s, is superb at his job. Absolute best of the best as far as I’m concerned, very happy with my experiences there.
Very unhappy customer. Got a altenator from them today. It was no good the bearings were bad. When i took it back today they charged me a $5.00 restocking fee. Are you serious?? I know a lot of people who will no longer use them.
They are not good to deal with, pretty much dishonest. Took a pickup truck full of aluminum window frames to them. That said they couldn’t give me a price until it was weighted, then they said they had to see all the frames(whole pick up load). Then after it was unloaded said there were steel screws that had to be taken out All the frames were the same different sizes. Maybe 8 3/8″ screws in each frames gave me $21. To late to reload beware
Wayne carter was a great man awsome person to work for he has good quality and mostly anything you need he buys scrap just hasnt had enough help to keep Carter’s open for longer then just Wednesday
I used to work at Carter’s auto recycling, when Wayne Carter owned the place, I started as just a parts puller and with in 3 months I was driving rollback and running the office. I had alot of customers knew me by name. I sure miss working there. I actually use to open on Saturday’s.
