DON’t BUY FROM THIS SELLER. Ordered a door to my mechanic. The door came damaged. They would only refund 60$ out of 450$ saying it could be buffed out. It could not be buffed and and cost me over 60$ for the mechanic to attempt to buff. Almost sure based off the way it was packaged and the scratches on the door. The door was packaged damaged.
Only cause you have to give a star to review. I ordered from here because of the mechanic I was working with. The transmission didn’t even work when installed. They sent another one after a ton of mix ups and way more fun(sarcasm) than necessary. I got another mechanic to try and install the second one they sent. When the mechanic tried to install he discovered it was cracked. They then tried to claim the mechanic dropped the transmission. Luckly the mechanic had video recordings of the shop and shared them with me and the guys at I-80. Who then came up with a brilliant(sarcasm) plan to swap out the cases of the transmission. The mechanic didn’t specialize in this so after reaching out to mechanics that did I ran into one that had had this same issue with I-80 who made it clear to me to get my money back. I was informed that I-80 refuses to refund when they know they can’t provide adequate parts then hope you get frustrated and move on. That shop recommended what he had to do which was initiate a chargeback. I’m doing that now and will take legal action if need be. But this is not a place to get parts. I’ve been buying used parts for years and have never been swindled like this before. Don’t shop here for large crucial car parts.
Had an amazing experience with this company…. I went in to buy a rim for my son’s car because his was damaged. The guy behind the desk was super nice he said I told them to give me the one with the best tire and that’s exactly what they did and now my son has his room replaced and he has a good tire on there so I’m truly thankful for my experience!
When I needed an engine and needed some help they were there. Allowed me to pay in two installments and delivered to my mechanic. Graham was great will be back and spread the word.
I HAVE EXPERIENCED THE WORST SERVICE EVER AT THIS JUNKYARD I CALLED SPOKE WITH LADY NAME BETH THERE FRIDAY 4/8 about a trans for my car I called back that Monday 4/11 sent my card info confirm order they had 3 trans on part website it says they where tested I called her week straight nothing called her every hour on hour nothing the following week she stated they tested all 3 trans they are all bad but it says they are tested on website she tell me 4/22 that they don’t have one after my customer have been waiting for there car to be repaired instead of tellin me they don’t want to deliver trans from Indiana to Aurora!! Horrible Horrible Service!! Think TWICE
