This place is the most Unprofessional and Shister Business! We were in town visiting and got t boned and we called Jake’s to have our vehicle towed. When Geico went to pick up the vehicle they wouldn’t release it to them and they said they couldn’t release the vehicle from me over the phone that it had to be done in person. We live 2 1/2 hours away so we had to fill out a release form online and email along with a copy of my DL. We did this and still would not release the car because the registration was not in globve box even though the Tag is proof of that and it matches my insurance info and DL. They said they couldn’t run the tag info for AL. We finally found the paperwork and emailed it to them.Geico called me 4 days later aaking me to sign the release form so they could get my car and Jake’s still wouldn’t release it.I I informed them we did that a week prior and the hold up was the registration which we emailed that 3 daya prior. Geico called back and asked us the send the registration so Jake’s could release the car because they said they didn’t have the registration still. We then sent Geico and fwd Geico all the information along with the texts and emails to Jake’s proving all that had been sent. Jakes still were not releasing the vehicle. Jake’s Towing is basically holding and stalling on the release so they can charge more for storage. The Ladies in the Office are ignorant and Do Not Know how to do their job. I told them that if I has to drive 2 1/2 hours just to get my car released, It would not be good for them and I would not be nice about it. So instead of just releasing my vehicle with the signed release form and a copy of my Dl, and not to mention Geico has proof that the car is registered to me, these Stupid B****’s still refused and would not release my car. Now they are deliberately stalling even more and refusing to release my vehicle even after they received the registration and continue to lie to Geico telling them they dont have the required paperwork to release the vehicle. What a bunch of Unprofessional D Bags. If you ever need a Tow in Kenner, Metairie, or New Orleans area DO NOT USE JAKES TOWING. We even had our Lawyers Office call and ask them to release my vehicle as they are a local LA. Law firm handling our case and they have to wait to talk with Geico until the vehicle is released. Believe me, we will be telling everyone thru Social Media, Friends all over and around Jake’s Towing in LA. Not to use these A**wipes! JAKES TOWING IS THE WORST TOWING COMPANY we have ever used in over 30 years of needing or using this type of service.

Its alittle ways from my house but I like Jake’s. Got a rim n used tires from them. Always a help

DJ was great. Picked up and dropped the vehicle off almost within an hour. Will definitely use Jake’s again. I might even request him. Great service
