I’ve been seeing a lot of negative comments about buying a transmission or engine. When installing it yourself it’s hard for any salvage yard to know if you properly installed it correctly that’s why I recommend having them install it for you so their won’t be any issues. I would ask them to take a video of them installing it or take pictures of the progress….yes it’s a lot of money having it installed but at the end YOU know they installed it and THEY are reliable for that warranty. Buying a used transmission or engine from any salvage yard is like gambling. (It may or may not be defective). Don’t forget parts on the used engine may go bad like head gaskets, seals or water pump. This isn’t a rebuilt engine or transmission. (It’s used) Just make shure you are topped off with fluids and checking everything before you leave their shop.I never came here before or bought anything from them but I just want people to understand how alot of salvage yards are.
I don’t work here or know the owner I’m just a guy thats looking at reviews from other salvage yards. One day I’ll stop by here and give my honest review about them and give an update on my experience.

I can’t thank Jim and Sonia and all the folks at K&R enough for all their help and their honesty. I needed a transmission for my enclave and they found one for me and when I had a issue they handled it with me not expecting any help from them. Truly amazing service in a world where you don’t see that much anymore. Thanks K&R

Excellent service. During the past year they picked up two cars from my complex with both customers being very happy. Based on those experiences I called them for a family member’s car in nearby Massachusetts. Tony was very professional and friendly and the pick-up was on time with great service too. Easy transaction with no hassles. Recommend highly!!

I wont recommend this business to my worst enemy, long story short story, this people do not stand behind the products they sell, and they will play any game to avoid warranty. Good luck if you have to deal with them…

If you don’t want to waste your money don’t buy parts here they sale you parts with warranty and later they said 20 different things to not cover it be careful
