Spoke with someone at Lamberts in regards to them having sent me wrong motor for my truck. Wasn’t wrong year don’t think but totally wrong engine. . Since I didn’t know it until after 30 days they told me to bad I should’ve noticed it earlier and basically since I’m no one special that my fault didn’t know the 5.3 and 4.8 share same block and therefore I didn’t notice they messed up earlier

I ordered a 5.3 engine for 06 silverado only to later after installing learning they sent me a 4.8 instead. Now unsure what do and out money
This was my 2nd time going to pick a part with my brother in law. If you have a lot of free time, this is like a playground for adults. They have what seems like over a thousand vehicles. I did find 3 of the 6 items I came for. But I didn’t bring enough tools. Sometimes you meet others who will let you borrow a tool you need. I can’t wait until my next trip . And it is such good exorcize. And they are very reasonably priced.
I am very upset with Lambert’s , I call on some parts talked with them twice before coming to pick my parts up that they assured me were there and they they had someone pulling at that moment, I traveled an hour to get my parts only to get there and they tell me they don’t have them , like what the heck that’s just wrong and very unprofessional , so there goes 40$ in gas thanks for nothing
