Very nice spot for car parts. Junk yard has a lot of cars and prices are reasonable. Staff was friendly! Look at their cars first on their website before going. 3 dollar entry free to get in
Been using lkq for years but the new system that they have put in place has made it much harder and more inconvenient to getting your parts. Also now you have to purchase the warranty separately which is bs. To top it off the place used to be organized with trucks in the front and the rest was by make. You had a gm section ford section ect. Now you just have stuff scattered with no organization and it takes hours to find what used to take minutes
I hate the shady fees. I’m fine paying $80 for a bumper cover but dont call it $55 and then tack on $16.50 for a non optional guarantee and $5 Environmental fee. Why would a bumper cover need a guarantee or an environmental fee?
I never thought a Junk Yard would be fun. I’ve pulled parts from here and learned a lot about cars, also saved a ton of money getting my own parts, I also sold a totaled car to LKQ, both where a great experience. You have to remember when you go, its a salvage yard not the Ritz Carlton. Staff has always been really nice to me.
