At Mr. Friendly Auto Salvage in Mt Clemens, MI, customers can find a wide selection of used auto parts to suit their needs. Whether it’s for a full restoration of an old classic car or for a simple repair to a modern vehicle, the business has what you need. Founded in 1968 by Thomas Friendly himself, it is one of the oldest salvage yards in the area and has since grown into a reliable source for used car parts.
The yard itself is located at 163 Hubbard St and has been open ever since its founding over five decades ago. It contains hundreds of vehicles in all states of disrepair, referred to by many as junk cars or scrap cars due to their condition. But that just means there is more opportunity to find different parts and pieces that are still usable despite the wear and tear they have undergone over time. Many of these cars are older models from vintage eras that can be hard to find elsewhere as well as more recent vehicles from the past few decades.
Even if someone isn’t looking for specific parts, there is something else that sets this salvage yard apart – its friendly service! The staff at Mr. Friendly’s always go out of their way to ensure everyone has what they need while providing helpful advice on how to match up proper components with existing ones or provide recommendations based on experience on what might fit better or last longer.
In addition to stocking physical items such as headlights, engines, tires, transmissions and more, Mr. Friendly Auto Salvage also keeps an updated inventory online so customers can easily check what they have available before making a trip out to the store itself – saving time and money while getting exactly what they need!

You disgusting people still do business here? Very good you fit right in with this crowd. . By the way they have not changed owners at all still the same scams going on at this place. Don’t believe me? Give it a shot
I went in to buy a transmission the guys are actually friendly, but they gave me the wrong part 3times I have wasted drive time i live a hour away from there shop, I drove 4times because they don’t answer the phone or call u back , I have no part so I ask for my money back all due respect I deserve my money back but the heavyset guy wouldn’t give it back I don’t understand that I wasn’t there to donate money.
Great place, great prices. Kyle is a good dude and has helped me out numerous times.
Quick and easy! Called to turn in a car and they picked it up within a couple days. They were really nice over the phone and the gentlemen that came to the house was even friendlier. As for the process of turning in a car, it’s the easiest part. Just have your title ready and they take care of the rest. I would highly recommend based off my experience.
