I took in a half a ton steel gondolas to this place, all good quality clean steel from a demo job, and they did not quote me a price, but we unloaded it, as I trusted them to give me Fair price!
When I went to the window, they gave me 2 cent’s a pound, claimed it was mixed batch of metal!
It was all high quality steel, the total that I received for 964 pounds was $19.28, when I should have received $192.80.
This place is not the place to take anything, especially if you’re a woman!
They ripped me off too. Recycling in ABQ will not pay your gas cost!
None of the recycling centers are worth the trip. They are all working together to keep what they pay you down so, they can make more on their end.
