I have used Mike, North Valley Auto Repair, since last century! I think he opened in 1990, I have recommended them to quite a few people, and have had no complaints, only lots of praise. They do excellent work, at more than fair pricing. They definitely stand behind the work they do! They won’t try to sell you a bunch of fluff, just what you came in for. I can’t say anything even slightly bad, just be patient with them, Mike is the owner and mechanic. Just a Great Family Owned Local Business.

Mike is a 1-man show in this shop tucked away on North 2nd St. Very knowledgeable and honest, he even found one of my repair requests was something that may have been covered by a factory recall, and told me about it, just in case it would save me $ to take it to a dealership instead of charging me to do it himself. A lot of mechanics will just fix what you tell them, and not even bother checking for a recall/rebate/discount, etc. He’s worked on my truck twice, and always gets me in and repairs done pretty quickly. Highly recommend

In the world of Auto mechanics it’s been in my history to find honest ones very difficult. I finally have found one in Mike. I’ve been taking my vehicles to him for 4 years already. When something came up negative he let me know, which was honesty on his part. Most mechanics would have change the part and charged me. I don’t have over 100 reviews on other places, but when I do it’s very sincere.

Mike was Fantastic. My mom is rarely comfortable with these kinds of situations and Mike made fixing her car easy. She needed an engine rebuild, and when an opportunity arose to acquire a factory rebuild at an attractive price, Mike passed the savings on to us and we paid $400 less than the cheapest quote we could find. ( And that was with a junkyard engine with 98,000 miles on it.) Anyway, he has been great with the follow up service and will easily get my business in the future. BTW, I went to his shop based only on the Google reviews and a referral from a junkyard. I’m thankful for the pleasant experience.
