Pick-n-Pull at 585 W 3300 S, South Salt Lake, UT 84115 is a used auto parts center where customers can purchase salvaged vehicles or the components that are still usable from them. Only costs a dollar to get in. There are thousands of cars and trucks to remove parts from. There are even some cars for sale. Most look like “fixer-uppers” but some look like they aren’t too bad. The prices for parts are not too bad. I got 4 small parts for less than $20.
They actually close at 5pm!!! I’m so frustrated after calling to make sure they had what I was looking for I told them I was on my way down and would be there at about 5:30pm. The person on the phone neglected to tell me that even though their close time is listed as 6pm on google they won’t let you into the yard after 5:30 (soon to be 5:00). I get to this place at 5:32 and they won’t let me out to the yard even though I explained that I had called ahead and only needed a Chevy Trailblazer emblem (a quick pull). I asked to speak to a supervisor and was made to wait more than 30 min before someone came to see me. I was upset by then but tried to calmly explain what happened and ask for an apology. Basically got told they were closed and to just leave and that they refused to apologize or acknowledge any responsibility for making me drive 80 min out of my way when they knew they were going to keep me from the yard. Or even an apology for making me wait longer than it would have taken to get the emblem just to talk to a manager who was curt and unapologetic. Garbage service but I guess that’s all you can expect from a junkyard. I don’t typically leave 1 star reviews but this was a terrible experience all around.
They definitely need more staff and quit adding extended warranties on the price without asking you I stood in line so long to pay I didn’t catch it and went back for the refund.
if I wanted an extended warranty I will ask for it .
it took 45 minutes to check out and items pouring rain only 2 guys working there please treat your customers right the way you like to be treated I like pick n pull but there’s definitely serious issues going on last few years especially on the weekends
Got everything I needed and the answer to all my questions overall a very satisfying experience.
Looked up on line at their car list. A car was listed as I needed. Went there, $1 entrance fee. Car was in the spot as listed on the website. Car separated by import and American. Rows easily identified. Price list on the website. All easy, got the part I needed!! Thanks
