Lots of selection, good prices…but bring lots of water along with your tools

I cannot believe how this place has changed. Over the years I’ve purchased thousands of dollars of parts from this business, but i won’t be back after this mornings fiasco. I went for a tow reciever for my truck. Their pricing shows 47.95 plus tax and environmental (which i don’t understand, what environmental) and they’ve raised their prices since i was last there. (just like everyone else in this inflationary nightmare of an economy) I was shocked when the girl tells me $152. I asked her to itemize that for me and she starts 15.95 for the wiring harness (that was attached to the reciever) 3.95 per bolt (8 bolts) 2.95 for the nuts (8 nuts) 5.95 a bracket (4 mounting brackets which have the nuts welded to them) the environmental fee and tax. Her supervisor is now standing behind her as i advise them that the hitch is 125 brand new. What good is the receiver without the mounting hardware and your pricing says 47.95 on your website. The supervisor retorts that the web site doesn’t include tax or environmental and with that i grabbed my toolbox and walked out without another word. Obviously the capacity to reason isn’t within their ability and I will not argue this with someone who thinks tripling the price was caused by taxes and environmental fees. I stopped at the competition down the road and asked what their price is for the reciever and mounting hardware and was told 52.95. So I’m done with this yard. You’d be better served going to the one around the corner with a similar name but shorter hours, they might advertise higher prices but they aren’t gouging you either.

They have a large place and friendly service. Called in to make sure the had the vehicle. They have a map where import cars are, lugging my tools there I search for the car, took the door off, something I learned from a you tube video ahead of time. Got the piece check on the map which had prices too. They have a sister Pull N Save a little ways down the road.
