We bought a vehicle from a wholesale dealer that had come through this location and they were very helpful and forthcoming with information even though it was of no advantage to them. They called me back and answered numerous questions about the vehicle which was very helpful. They didn’t have to do that and I really appreciate the good customer service.
Wasted a 4 hour round trip to purchase a low mile rear end assembly that was supposedly inspected and good to go. Sadly it wasn’t good. Full of rust particles from the cover that was rotted from the inside out.
I thought I was ripped off, but they did offer me somewhat near fair value, a bit lower. I just wasn’t exactly happy with how grumpy they were, they didn’t talk and just didn’t seem very professional, what are you going to expect from junk dealers though?
I recommend and will continue to use this yard for used parts . I’ve used Turnpike about 6 times per year for the past 4 years for various parts for budget repairs and they have been consistent to send me the correct part and they’ve all worked.
Always treated well, prices have always been great! These guys are an asset to us dyi people and they are not greedy with their prices either.
