Wallington Auto Wrecker, located at 217 Paterson Ave in Wallington, New Jersey, is an automotive facility specializing in used auto parts. Whether it’s referred to as a junkyard, salvage yard, scrap yard, or a wrecking yard, Wallington Auto Wrecker is committed to providing clients with quality auto parts and services. Their selection of materials includes junk cars from both domestic and foreign manufacturers from various makes and models.
The company has been in operation since 1976 and was founded by Milt Petouvis as a family-owned business. Despite the evolution of the wider automotive industry and the emergence of newer technologies, the Petouvis family still runs the business today with a focus on providing customers with excellent service and competitive prices for their used parts. The staff at Wallington Auto Wrecker are highly knowledgeable when it comes to cars and can provide advice on what type of parts are most suitable for any desired repairs or restorations.
The property covers over two acres of land that houses hundreds of vehicles all awaiting disassembly. Onsite technicians carefully remove parts from wrecked vehicles before they’re sorted into categories such as engines, transmissions, body panels, rims, tires, lights and bumpers – just to name a few! They also offer recycling services where they process scrap metals such as iron and aluminum before selling them off to steel mills.
For those who may be wary about purchasing used car parts online without seeing them in person first; Wallington Auto Wrecker allows customers to come visit their location so that they can see the exact item that they are interested in buying first-hand prior to making their purchase.

Great place. They are always up front and deal honestly, if they don’t have a part they normally try as hard as they can to get one. Anyway pricing is fair and the parts are always good, but if you need small parts this is not the place. It’s the whole assembly or nothing.
If you will like to pay upfront and be promised something within a two day supposed time frame and still not receive it just about a week later then this place is for you. I order a part for my car and was told I would receive it within two day. That would have been perfect if that had actually happened but it didn’t. Instead my piece wasn’t order until two days after I paid, the day I was suppose to receive it because they had questions to ask so they could order the right piece. Shouldn’t that had been done from the get. How long has this place been open, year I bet and they still don’t know how to do they’re homework on order a side view mirror. Ridiculous! But even at this point I still had patience it was until three days later two if you don’t want to count Sunday that after not receiving any call when I was told it would be there that I finally made the call to find out what was going on only to be told that the mirror can in damaged and they would need more time. I paid upfront a week ago and your telling me when they finally received the piece it come in damaged. Do they not care for or take precaution when ordering people’s ($h!t).
Stay away do not buy I’m stealing waiting for my refund and my car still isn’t fixed and it’s been two weeks.
They were able to obtain a part for me I was looking for. It was in excellent condition and the service excellent. The staff were all very courteous. The price was right as well! I will keep in mind when I need anything else!
